The university was founded in 1201 around the time Cambridge was established but not widely accepted as a legitimate university due to the nature of many un-provable crypto-creatures studies. Cryptozoology and Paranormal studies were the two main areas of study. For centuries Lycanthropy and Vampirism dominated much of the curiosity of students of Cryptozoology. The motto for the University is “Mirum scrutari multipliciter, et in studiis manere” which means Study the Strange and stay curious.

Ghosts and XX were The study of extraterrestrial life was long debated over the two deans of Paranormal studies and Cryptozoology.  UFOlogy was the 3rd major department. It didn’t become it’s own area of study until centuries later as more and more sightings and abductions became too overwhelming for them to track that neither department could keep up with the responsibilities to document and study. The Ufology department was officially founded in MXICV when professor xxx from the order of Xxx was appointed to oversee it. The motto for Ufology is - i velint credere” or in English “I want to believe”

Throughout the centuries more studies of the occult were easily assigned to the different areas of study until 18th centuries. The fourth area of study Conspiracy Theory didn’t become an official part of the university as its own until the 18th century. The group of conspiracy theorists grew area Jack the Ripper in 18XX and accused the Illuminati and storm hedge cutters of creating and conspiring to keep him protected for so many years. The group was approached by the Illuminati preparatory academy and told them that they were not responsible and invited them to join the University to give them some insight and some semblance of legitimacy. Because all departments encourage the pursuit of knowledge in all areas they decided that even with Constant and regular accusations of suspicion from the department that it was still important to unite them to the university. It wasn’t until 2018 that the Organizations decided to spread the fields of study to an online platform to reach a wider range of cryptozoologist who are interested in “Studying the strange” we at the university believe we are the first line. We are the forerunners that pursue and study when the world is afraid to accept it. Because of our collective contributions we have proved the existence to the world, a number of creatures. The giant salamanders of xxx. And the serpent fish of Mongolia. And many others.
